This new curriculum seeks to provide quality education in line with the priorities set forth by the Kenyan government's "Kenya Kwanza" agenda. Furthermore, participants deliberated on strategies to strengthen the KUPPET Union's presence and impact in Vihiga County. This significant gathering was spearheaded by Mr. Sabala, the Executive Secretary of the Union, Vihiga County and was graced by the KUPPET national leadership chaired Hon. Omboko Milemba.

The distinguished honor of inaugurating the conference fell to Dr. Caroline Mulinya, the Director of Linkages and Student Careers, who represented the VC. Dr. Mulinya expressed her gratitude to the educators for selecting KAFU as the venue for their conference. She encouraged them to consider enrolling in the diverse programs offered by KAFU, highlighting a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that entitles KUPPET members and their dependents a 16% waiver in tuition fees.
