Speaking during the ceremony, the VC described the day as a blessed and unique moment for KAFU, noting that it marked the commencement of a tradition that needs to be nurtured annually. A tradition that reminds KAFU that the pursuit of knowledge must always walk hand in hand with faith.

“We gather in thanksgiving, unity and hope believing that God who has guided us this far will continue to lead us into greater heights, we believe that academic excellence without spiritual grounding is incomplete”, he noted.

Prof. Mwita also reaffirmed that the university is committed to working closely with the religious community to help nurture graduands who are not only knowledgeable but also peace builders, ethical leaders and responsible citizens.
