I am a dedicated nursing professional and academic with over 20 years of progressive experience in clinical nursing, higher education, leadership, and research. I currently serve as a Lecturer and Chairperson of the Department of Nursing at Kaimosi Friends University (KAFU).

 

I hold a PhD in Nursing, an MScN in Advanced Nursing Practice (Nursing Education Specialty), and a BScN—all from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST). My career journey has included leadership roles such as Clinical Coordinator, Nursing Officer in Charge, and member of various university committees and boards. I have actively contributed to curriculum development, policy formulation, quality assurance, and academic mentorship within and beyond the university. My professional development includes specialized training in digital education for universities, and educational research mentorship.

 

My research interests span peer mentorship, student academic performance, reproductive health, and substance abuse. I have authored numerous publications in peer-reviewed journals and presented my work at national and international conferences. I am also actively engaged in community outreach initiatives and serve as board member for several schools.
