Dr. Silvester Wanyama Nakhisa Mackton is a lecturer and Chair of the Department of Economics at Kaimosi Friends University. He has over 30 years’ experience in academia and research, having taught in several Universities in Kenya. Dr. Mackton has an impressive academic background. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics degree from Maseno University; a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Economics degree from Moi University and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed Arts) degree with Economics and Business Studies from the University of Nairobi. He has successfully gone through the Strategic Leadership Development Program (SLDP) training at the Kenya School of Government (KSG), which program has greatly sharpened his leadership skills. He has also undertaken the program of study in Job Evaluation in the Public Service at the Kenya School of Government (KSG). He is a reputable economist and a member (A fellow) of the Economists Society of Kenya (ESK) of good standing.
